Chrome removes this local extension storage when you uninstall the extension. Signing out removes the local Pro session. You can also clear extension data from Chrome’s extension settings.
What is not collected
- No account is required for the free tier. You can download unlimited listing photos and up to three listing videos per day without signing in.
- No browsing history is collected. The extension only activates on supported eBay item pages
(
/itm/URLs), and it does not transmit the pages you visit to SellerGrab. - No listing content is uploaded. Listing titles, item IDs, photo URLs, video URLs, ZIP files, XLSX files and MP4 files stay out of SellerGrab’s servers.
- No advertising profiles. We do not sell user data or use it for personalized advertising, credit scoring or lending.
Where your downloads come from
Photos are fetched from i.ebayimg.com and videos from video.ebaycdn.net — eBay’s own media
servers — directly to your computer. Video files arrive as fragments and are reassembled into a
playable MP4 locally, inside the extension. No copy of the listing media is sent to SellerGrab.
Optional Pro account and billing
The free tier works without an account. If you choose to buy or use Pro, the extension opens SellerGrab’s account and pricing pages and asks you to sign in with Google so the subscription can be attached to an account. SellerGrab then processes:
- the account details returned by Google, which may include your email address, name, profile image and an internal user ID;
- authentication tokens used to keep you signed in;
- the plan, subscription status, renewal/expiry time and usage entitlement associated with your account; and
- checkout and payment status needed to activate and manage Pro.
Payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. SellerGrab does not receive or store your full card number or card security code. The payment processor may process payment and billing information under its own privacy policy.
Limited product events and diagnostics
The bundled account SDK can send a limited set of events to https://ebay.sellergrab.com, including
optional sign-in outcomes and unhandled extension errors. These records can include
an event ID and time, extension ID/version, browser language, anonymous device identifier, internal
user ID when signed in, and a bounded error message/stack trace.
These events are used only to operate the subscription flow, measure whether the product works and diagnose failures. They do not include eBay listing HTML, listing titles, item IDs, media URLs, downloaded files, your general browsing history or personal communications.
Website analytics
The sellergrab.com website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate traffic, such as which pages are viewed, referring sources, approximate location derived from IP address, and general device and browser information. This measurement covers the website only: the SellerGrab extension does not send your browsing activity or any eBay listing content to Google Analytics.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser for this purpose. You can block them through your browser settings or Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Blocking analytics does not affect any website or extension feature.

The extension does not request <all_urls>. It cannot run on sites outside the declared eBay item
pages and the service origins above.
Removing your data
Uninstalling removes data stored by the extension in Chrome. It does not automatically cancel a paid subscription or delete an optional Pro account and its server-side billing/entitlement records.
To request access to or deletion of account-related data, or to ask a privacy question, email [email protected]. Some transaction records may need to be retained where required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention or other legal duties.

SellerGrab’s use and transfer of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use this information only to provide and improve the extension’s user-facing functionality, and we do not sell it.
